CASE STUDY · ROOFS, GARAGES AND PERGOLAS

From scattered leads to a 12x return on ad spend

A Texas company building aluminium pergolas and patio covers was spending on advertising every month without knowing which channel actually brought in sales. We built a multi-channel lead generation system and tracked every lead from the first message to the signed project.

Starting point

Leads came in through every possible route: ads, social media, WhatsApp, phone calls and website forms. They were logged by hand in spreadsheets, each person in their own way, and the same source appeared under dozens of different names.

Money went out every month, but nobody could answer the question that matters: which channel actually brings in sales, and which just brings in conversations?

What we did

  1. 01 · Weeks 1-2

    Geotechnical Survey and Audit

We reviewed every channel, the real spend on each one (checked against the ad accounts, not the internal spreadsheets) and how leads were being recorded. The diagnosis: the problem wasn't spending too little, it was not being able to measure.

  2. 02 · Weeks 3-5

    Blueprints and Structural Design

We set channels and budgets by city, and one clear rule for measurement: only sales that come through a paid channel count as marketing sales. Referrals and word of mouth are measured separately.

  3. 03 · Weeks 6-8

    Construction and Asset Development

We rolled out the strategy on five fronts: Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, email and inbound marketing through content, the blog and profiles that attract searches of their own.

  4. 04 · Weeks 9-12

    Launch and Activation

Every lead is recorded with its source from the very first message and followed through every stage: estimate, site visit, formal quote and installation. That way, every sale is attributed to its channel.

  5. 05 · Weeks 13-16

    Certification and Maintenance

A monthly executive report crosses spend, appointments and closed sales by channel, with a campaign review every two weeks. Budget moves towards whatever sells.

Result

In the first nine months of 2026, USD 115,000 invested in paid channels generated more than USD 1.4 million in sales: a 12x return.

92 projects closed from paid channels, at a cost per client of around USD 1,260 against an average ticket of USD 15,000.

Two thirds of all revenue in the period came from measured marketing.

What we learnt

Measuring properly lets you react fast. When one channel stopped working from one month to the next, it showed up in the report straight away and the budget moved to the channels that were still selling. Without attribution, that drop would have gone unnoticed for months.
